第二屆香港荷蘭日將隆重回歸，為大眾呈獻一場精彩紛呈的荷蘭藝術文化盛宴，當中舉行的博物館研討會系列更是重點項目之一，呈現荷蘭燦爛豐富的文化歷史沈澱。

本屆荷蘭日舉行的多個博物館研討會將邀得數個知名博物館來港進行文化交流，同於「Masters of the Golden Age」的主題下，為香港公眾帶來黃金時代的尼德蘭文化精髓。當中包括：擁有逾三百年歷史及收藏世界名畫《戴珍珠耳環的少女》的Mauritshuis（莫瑞泰斯皇家美術館），負責人Emilie Gordenker將親臨現場，講解館內展出的作品歷史以及未來的發展方向。作為歐洲最具規模航海博物館的Het Scheepvaartmuseum（荷蘭國家海事博物館），它曾見證荷蘭繁榮航海歷史及收藏國家航海物件，館長Cecile Bosman將首次來港親身分享荷蘭悠久繁榮的航海歷史。除此之外，活動亦邀得現為荷蘭規模最大博物館的Rijksmuseum（阿姆斯特丹國家博物館）的館長Duncan Bull講解館內展品系列的特色及對文化的意義。以高貴優雅陶器聞名的Aronson Antiquaris，亦將由家族第五代繼承人Robert D. Aronson帶領聽眾探討陶器受荷蘭人愛戴的原因及陶器於過去在文化中擔任的角色。

延續去年度的成功，第二屆香港荷蘭日將於2016年4月5至27日於香港隆重舉行。是次活動由荷蘭駐港總領事館及香港亞洲藝術週聯合主辦，主力展示和推廣荷蘭在藝術、文化和創意領域的傑出成果。
